SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
The spiritual journey is meant to be taken with a guide or small group of companions. For young adults, parents, faith leaders, or working professionals, spiritual direction:
focuses on one’s religious experience, a person’s actual experience of a relationship with God or the transcendent.
is about a relationship, what happens in an ongoing relationship between the person and God.
is a relationship that is going somewhere and asks, “what is happening? what is moving forward?”
The real spiritual director is God. Spiritual direction helps a person respond to God’s invitation to a deeper relationship.
I look forward to sharing more about one-on-one spiritual direction or supervision groups!

INDIVIDUAL SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Seeking help when exploring the deeper questions of meaning, purpose, faith, or identity is a movement of the Spirit at work. Finding a trusted companion can be invaluable at a time of transition or making an important decision. A skilled and experienced spiritual director can provide essential support, for anyone wanting to grow in self-knowledge and awareness, develop a sense of hope and confidence, or gain clarity, wisdom, and freedom,
ONLINE AND IN-PERSON DIRECTION GROUPS
Small groups offer a sense of belonging to a community of others who want to grow in their spiritual life. Direction groups meet monthly where a new theme is presented each month. Time is provided for individual reflection and group sharing. Participants learn methods for contemplative writing and creative expression, grow in self-knowledge and in relationship to, and understanding of, the Transcendent.
COMPANION GROUPS for SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS
To be a loving presence for others requires on-going supervision and support from others. In Companion Groups, skilled and experienced spiritual directors gather with ministry colleagues to walk alongside one another, grow in awareness and self-knowledge, reflect on their experience of companioning others. Time together will help identify personal gifts as well as the questions and challenges. Group members develop a trust over time and bond with one another through the process . Please contact me to learn more about supervision groups.
